Inside Sales Support 

INSIDE SALES SUPPORT - JOB SUMMARY

K&L Supply is seeking a full time Inside Sales Support Representative. You’ll be a member of the K&L Sales & Marketing Team and will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

This individual will be responsible for developing new accounts, growing existing accounts, and prospecting for new leads. This position will primarily consist of managing customer accounts, answering inbound inquiries as well prospecting for new dealers. Other duties include maintaining a thorough, up to date knowledge of company products/programs, and assisting customers with any related paperwork involved with getting set up as a new dealer or completing a sale. Integrity, attention to detail, and passion are essential for this role.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include inbound and outbound calls to support our Dealers throughout the United States. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Processing orders and supporting our Dealers. Present corporate approved pricing, programs, new products, terms and promotions.
  • Development of accounts, forecasting and growing existing accounts and new dealers.
  • Develop annual account improvement plans, including forecasting, and work with each account to execute plan.
  • Learn our product line including tools and equipment to provide better support to customers
  • Assist with development of accounts, including incoming and outgoing sales.
  • Setting up new accounts, ensuring customers meet all required new dealer documentation.
  • Support other sales and business development tasks as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years’ experience in Dealer Development or Sales
  • 2+ years’ work experience in Motorcycle or Powersports Industry preferred
  • Extensive professional experience selling, growing accounts and outbound calling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Energetic and outgoing personality with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Experience working with a CRM to track opportunities and grow sales
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Must be able to learn quickly, solve problems and work independently.

This is a fun, fast-paced environment with plenty of room to grow. This is a full time, W-2 position with a base salary and commission after 90 days. Company offers health/dental/vision benefits, paid vacation, relaxed dress code, and a fun, passionate group of co-workers.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • This position may require limited travel which is expected to be less than 5%.

R&D Specialist & Product Support 

R&D SPECIALIST & PRODUCT SUPPORT - JOB SUMMARY

K&L Supply has an immediate need for a highly motivated R&D Specialist / Product Support Representative to join our Research & Development Team. This is a Full Time position with some travel requirements. Candidate must have motorcycle industry experience.
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include various R&D and Product Development projects, including but not limited to:

  • R&D: Work with R&D Team to develop and design new K&L products.
  • Product Management : Work with domestic and international vendors to maintain and expand our product portfolio.
  • Product Tech Support : Provide support to customers regarding K&L Equipment, Tools and Parts.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of motorcycle industry experience. Experience in manufacturing, engineering, and customer service is a plus.
  • Must be able to read CAD drawings and understanding engineering concepts.
  • Product Management / Product Development skills are a must.
  • In-depth knowledge of engines and their inner workings, components, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills. Must also be self motivated, assertive and organized.
  • Problem solving and project leadership skills.
  • Solid computer and communication skills. Must be proficient with MS Office.
  • Some business travel may be required.
  • High School Diploma required, Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
